As of R 2.8.0, the one-size-fits-all RPM is obsolete.  There are two
reasons for this:

1) The spec file became too unweildy to maintain.
2) Current Fedora and Red Hat Linux distributions can all use the same
   source RPM for R.

If you need to patch this spec file for your own rpm-based distribution,
then please send me the patched copy. I put a diff file against the
current fedora SPEC file in this directory. It will be easier to maintain
a single spec file with a collection of diffs than to attempt to put
everything in one file.
